What clinicians say about injecting peptides.
Harvard Health published a plain warning about the peptides sold online for human use. We are publishing it here, unedited, because we agree with it.
Reviewed by a Harvard Medical School physician
“As a clinician, I do not recommend injecting yourself with peptides.”
Dr Pieter Cohen, Associate Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School
“When you’re talking about peptides being promoted online, those health claims have not been vetted by any expert group, the FDA, or anyone else.”
Dr Pieter Cohen, quoted in Harvard Health Publishing
The article describes the products it is warning about as experimental compounds sold through gray-market storefronts and frequently labelled for research use only. That is an accurate description of this category, and we are in it.
We are not arguing with any of that
It would be easy to answer a warning like this by insisting our material is different. We are not going to. The compounds we supply have not been reviewed by the FDA for any use in people, and nothing about our testing changes that.
- Who we sell to
- Businesses conducting laboratory research. Not consumers, not patients, not clinics dispensing to patients.
- What we ship
- Unlabeled vials by the box, with a lot certificate of analysis. No dosing instructions, no indications, no human-use directions of any kind.
- What we do not claim
- That any compound here is safe, effective, or approved for use in a person or an animal. We make no health claim about any of it.
- If you are shopping for yourself
- You are the reader Dr Cohen is addressing, and this is not the right supplier for you. Speak to a licensed physician.
